Just out driving this morning and the Check Engine Light came on. It’s a 2024 Colorado Z71 with about 11,200 miles on it, I've had it since April. I drove it back home and hooked up my scanner. The only code it pulled was B2A7C, along with PF00AA, which I’m guessing is just a general CEL trigger. Tried searching online but came up empty on that code. Has anyone else come across this or have an idea what it might relate to?

PF00AA is a code telling you that there is a code to look at, it's a GM thing. As for the other one, maybe it's something specific. Are you using a scanner for GM vehicles or a generic one. Also, it's a 2024 model, I'd let the dealership try and figure things out.

That first code? It's more of a hint than a real answer, pointing to something bigger. The second one could just be from the car maker or even the scan tool itself. Worth checking things out with tools made for GM cars

Happened to me on my '23 Colorado.....ended up being a BCM software glitch tch. Dealer reflash cleared it right up.
