I'm glad to have found this forum i'm sure it'll be helpful especially we started having issues with our new truck, which we bought a few months back. We previously owned a Colorado for over 7 years with no problems, but this one has already been back to the dealership like 4 times. The main issue is the parking brake, which engages sporadically and sometimes wont release, making me nervous, recently I had to turn the truck off to get it to disengage. The front collision light also comes on intermittently. The dealership says, after consulting with GM, that the transfer case module needs replacement. The truck only has about 700 miles and i'm frustrated that we've barely been able to drive it. I'm posting here for any feedback or advice on what else we should be worried about while waiting for Chevrolet to contact me.

I had the same problem with my '23 Z71 when the brake started acting weird around 500 miles. It was a bad sensor connected to the truck's computer. After they changed it and updated the software, everything worked fine. While you wait, watch the battery level and any warning lights on the dash. They can point to other issues. Hope it gets fixed soon!

The transfer case module replacement makes sense if it's causing the parking brake issues and warning lights, but with so few miles, I'd be keeping a close eye on any other potential electronic issues.
