I've got a '22 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 and I'm exploring lift kit options, for better clearance on fire roads and the occasional trail weekend, but I still want to keep it civil for daily driving too, there's been a few 2 to 3" kits come to mind and sight but there's a lot floating around and it would really help if I could heard from those who have lifted their Z71, which did you go with and how were things after the install

A 2–3" lift works great on the Z71, it keeps daily driving smooth while adding trail clearance, many guys go with Rough Country or BDS, the ride stays decent if you align it right

Agreed, its enough for clearance on fire roads and light trails without wrecking your ride quality. Most people go with coil spacers or mild suspension kits, and report minimal impact on handling and comfort. Also, take into consideration that some kits affect alignment or require extra tweaks.
