I am curious if the GMC Canyon's trailering app supports GM's wireless trailer tire pressure monitoring sensors. I'd like to see real-time pressure and temperature readings for the trailer tires displayed in the cab while towing. Anyone tried this?

Yes, the GMC Canyon's trailering app, especially with the ProGrade Trailering System or the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor System, supports GM's wireless trailer tire pressure monitoring sensors.
You can see real-time pressure and temperature readings for up to six trailer tires displayed in the cab.
These sensors are typically included as part of an option package or available as a genuine GM accessory.
So you'll need to install them on your trailer tires and then pair them with your truck's system, which usually involves a specific learn procedure.

Its good to know it supports up to six tires with real-time data, I'll look into getting the GM sensors and follow the pairing steps you mentioned

Nope...canyons don't play nice with GM's OEM trailer TPMS, the trailering app will show pressure if you have those GM sensors and a compatible truck (like a Sierra or Silverado), but not on the Canyon, you'll need a third party option if you want trailer tire readings in cab.
