Center console for 2023 Colorado WT

I'm loving my 2023 Colorado WT but I just realized I'm really missing a proper center console. Has anyone added one to their WT model? Curious about OEM options if they exist but also open to good aftermarket solutions. Any recommendations or install tips would be great. Thanks!

I totally had the same problem with my '23 WT. It's so frustrating, right? So, I decided to swap in the OEM console from an LT, and guess what? It fits perfectly if you have the jump seat! A lot of people also go for Tuffy or Huskyliner aftermarket boxes, which are pretty solid options too. Just make sure you double-check the seat belt routing and floor bracket clearance before you hit that order button. You don't want any surprises

Why do manufacturers keep skimping on basic interior features like center consoles in base models, are they really saving money, or just forcing buyers to spend more on aftermarket parts later? Shouldn't a truck be functional from day one?

That's a common complaint for sure!
Installing a proper OEM center console is possible but it's not a simple bolt-on job.
You'd need to source all the parts, and it might be a bit of a wiring headache for things like the USB ports and rear vents if you want them to work.
I have no direct experience with this so I'd suggest going to the dealership to get it done, though I heard it can be pricey.
For aftermarket, I know someone who just added a storage box that sits between the seats.
He got the Tuffy Security Console, which seems like a popular option if you want a secure locking box.
