I’m confused about the differences between the standard 2.7L Turbo and 2.7L TurboMAX HO engine

Does anyone know the differences between the standard 2.7L Turbo and 2.7L TurboMAX High Output engine for 2024 Chevy Colorado? I've been researching these engines for days, but all I found was the output numbers, and the standard engine was just the less powered version of the TurboMAX. Anyone knows about the physical differences? I bought my Chevy Colorado 2024 LT in May, and I'm thinking about trading it in with the LT engine that has the 4X4 package or the trailboss because of the extra horsepower and torque. I just want to know what the options are on this.

My brother was also curious about this, but yeah, the 2.7L TurboMAX High Output is basically only about more power than the standard one.

The turbomax has more power due to a bigger turbo and upgraded internals. If you want extra performance, the LT with turbomax is great, but for off-roading, the trail Boss might be better.

Physical differences? Basically the TurboMax engine has more enhanced internal components and even have journals, crankshaft, and piston rods. Then for the standard well it just has a lower boost pressure. If you want something more powerful, go with the TurboMax. There's a reason why it's MAX. And you're planning to trade in, I think you should first consult actual pros. There's only much we can contribute to you here.

@CaptainHaisting85 The main difference is the output. The TurboMAX got more horsepower and torque, means that it has higher performance and towing capability. they do share the same 2.7L displacement, but the TurboMAX has internal modifications that enhance its power output!
