Coolant leak!

so my trucks been a champ for 49k miles but now its sprung a leak. some hose hooked to the radiator is crying at the plastic coupling not the rubber part tho. i have seen other folks gripping about this online so im like how many of us are in this leaky boat?? anyone got a sweet talk with chevy into fixing it for free because under warranty its known. right?? took it to the dealership and they were all nah! bro its just a hose and no warrant for you! what?? and those parts that i ordered i think it will be delivered back in town during christmas season! lol!

That radiator hose coupling issue sounds like a pain glad others are griping about it too! If it's a known problem, push Chevy hard. You may also call their customer service and be nice but firm, they might cover it under warranty. Dealership brushing it off as "just a hose" is not good. Since parts are backordered till Christmas, follow up with them.

man, that's so frustrating, you're definitely not alone in this leaky boat, happened to a friend a while back, you've put in the miles, and now the dealership's brushing you off like it's no big deal. The "it's just a hose" excuse is total garbage, especially when it's a known issue. gm should be stepping up if this is a recurring problem. If they're not fixing it now, keep pushing or escalate it to gm directly. You deserve better than waiting around for parts during the holiday season. It's like they're just trying to make you do all the legwork.

already went to the dealer for this and I'm still waiting on the part to arrive. tbh I don't care if they cover it under warranty or not, just wanna get my Colorado up and running again

Ah man, welcome to the leaky club mine started doing the same dance at around 52k, same story, plastic coupling near the radiator just crying for help. You'd think it's covered since it's a known weak point, right? but nah, my dealer hit me with the same "it's just a hose" line. I tried charm, logic, even donuts, no dice. it might be worth calling customer care directly instead of dealing with the local dealership clowns. As for the part… yeah, mine took forever too.

I think I just saw a thread here about a leak too. It's pretty common, yeah, but at least you got the problem at 49k miles you know. Some have it earlier. Do reach out to the customer service if they're being like that. For sure this is UNDER the warranty.
